Harry received a B.A. in philosophy and religion from Asbury University; a M.Div. from Asbury Theological Seminary; a Th.M. from Princeton Theological Seminary; an M.A. in mental health counseling from Argosy University, and a Ph.D. from Bethany Theological Seminary (summa cum laude).

He served 29 years in the U.S. Army Reserves as a chaplain; his final assignment was as III CORPS chaplain, responsible for all the chaplains and assistants west of the Mississippi. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (Florida) #MH10635, a Board Certified Psychotherapist, Diplomate (APA); a Qualified Supervisor for Mental Health Counseling Interns; a Clinical Mental Health Specialist in Trauma Counseling (Diplomate), an AMHCA Certified Traumatic Stress Consultant; a Certified Anger Management Specialist II; a Certified Autism Specialist (IBCCES); a Clinically Certified Sex Offender Treatment Specialist; a Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator, and a Qualified Expert Witness in circuit and federal courts as Forensic Mental Health Evaluator. In addition, Harry is the Director of Forensic Studies for the International Institute of Trauma Professionals.
