Lynette Arthurton, LMHC is a graduate of Liberty University with a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with ten years experience in counseling individuals, couples and families. Lynette is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and a Certified Anger Management Treatment Professional. She is presently working towards becoming certified as a Gottman Certified Therapist for relationship therapy as well as in Sue Johnson’s approach to Emotional Focused Therapy for couples. She specializes in counseling for PTSD, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, self-esteem, anger management, communication, marital counseling and sex therapy. She also provides pre-marital counseling and faith based counseling when requested. Lynette has been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). She is continuously taking classes to keep abreast of techniques that will help her clients.
