Shaana Wilson, MS, LMHC has worked in the area of Child Welfare with Children and Families. She was also able to work with a specialized unit in the State of Florida with Family Dependency Treatment Court as an active liaison to several families in the community. She specializes in working with children, teens, families, couples, and faith-based counseling. With her child welfare experience and passion for families, she is fueled in exploring innovative ways to bring restoration to broken families, children and teens. Spiritual awareness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play therapy and Parenting are some of the approaches she uses. Her approach is gentle and compassionate, while still being able to reach the core of your emotional needs.
Bachelors degree in May of 2006 in Social Personality Psychology at the University of South Florida. She further went on to Walden University’s Mental Health Counseling Program earning a Masters Degree of Science in May of 2012.
